The Festool 490096 is an 8mm shank, solid tungsten carbide roundover cutter designed for use with the Festool OFK 500 edge router. Its 6mm radius creates a prominent, smooth rounded edge, making it ideal for furniture edges, countertop lips, decorative panels, and other applications where a clean, professional profile is desired.
For consistent, guided routing, the cutter can be used with the Festool KLS-D 15,8-OFK ball bearing guide (490249), sold separately. The solid carbide construction provides excellent durability and long service life for demanding routing applications.
