The Festool PLANEX 2 Drywall Sanding Starter Set is a complete solution for professional drywall sanding, combining the PLANEX LHS 2 225 long-reach sander, CLEANTEC CT 36 EI AC dust extractor, pre-loaded abrasive Systainer and hand sanding block.

Designed for sanding walls and ceilings, the PLANEX 2 provides smooth operation and consistent material removal while helping reduce strain during extended sanding sessions. The large 8-7/8" (225 mm) sanding diameter provides broad coverage, making it ideal for achieving an even surface finish across larger areas.

PLANEX 2 Performance

The PLANEX 2 is designed to make long sanding sessions more comfortable while maintaining consistent results. Its controlled sanding action helps produce an even surface finish on drywall, walls and ceilings.

With an eccentric motion speed of 5,000–8,500 RPM and a 4 mm sanding stroke, the sander provides controlled material removal for both preparation and finishing work.

Integrated Dust Extraction

The included CLEANTEC CT 36 EI AC dust extractor provides powerful dust extraction while its automatic filter cleaning system helps maintain consistent suction during extended sanding applications.

The combination of the PLANEX 2 and CT 36 EI AC helps reduce airborne dust, improve visibility of the sanding surface and keep the work area cleaner.

Complete Abrasive & Detail Sanding System
