The Estwing 45 oz Compo-Cast Dead Blow Hammer delivers powerful, controlled strikes through the movement of hundreds of steel shot inside the hammer head. As the hammer makes contact, the shot moves within the internal steel canister to help maximize striking power while reducing rebound.
The steel canister, steel shot, and steel handle are completely encased in durable polyurethane, providing excellent resistance to oil and chemicals while helping minimize denting and marring of finished surfaces.
The dead blow design also helps reduce swing fatigue, sting, and vibration, making it ideal for demanding applications where controlled, non-marring strikes are required.
