Description

The KING Canada KC-1632DS 16" Open Drum Sander is designed for efficient thickness sanding of wide boards and panels. Its open-ended design allows you to sand material up to 32" wide in two passes, making it a versatile addition to woodworking shops handling larger workpieces.

Powered by a 1 HP, 10-amp drum motor and a 1/8 HP feed motor, the KC-1632DS features an adjustable feed rate from 0 to 31 surface inches per minute. The sanding drum operates at 1,720 RPM and uses a 3" x 96" sanding belt for efficient material removal and consistent results.

The machine features an easy-to-adjust conveyor belt tracking system and a convenient clamping system for quick sanding belt installation. A metric and imperial depth scale allows for accurate thickness adjustments, while the included metal stand provides a stable working platform.
